Singapore Toy and Convention Exhibition

Happening this weekend in Suntec City level 3, XMY and I went to check it out despite not really fans of comic nor toys.

Its basically an exhibition showcasing toys of all sorts and comics of all sorts. Except the porn type. Heh heh heh.

A lot of partners in there too! Like TimeZone, the arcade whom brought in DDR.


And really still got people play.

I only knew about this via the lamp post banners in town I think. Never heard about it anywhere else so was a lill surprise to see a lot of people!


The first booth I saw was Nintendo Wii.
Goodness, they are really a very catch-your-attention type of booth!



Its big firstly, and the whole space was segemented into the various booth "accessories" controller. Turn left you've got the sports Wii. Turn right you got the bounce Wii. Then in the centre for the Wii wheel.

And all of them you can try.

Then as we moved on the booths/exhibition, there were toys on display and some booths were selling them.

We also saw a few people in costume.





But oddly, the whole exhibition I like the most was the Star Wars although not a afn of Star Wars and never entered the booth.

The booth was walled up, sort of and you enter via one way ad exit via one way. There is "bouncer" there guarding the entrance and only a certain number of people can enter. And the entrance was simply designed but got the feeling la.

When you enter, there were shelves of Star Wars figurine etc etc.


I like it because I guess they really showcase the various Star Wars available in a straight forward manner and that they do take note of the capacity within the booth.

There is even Lao Fu Zi! Master Q!



Fans of Lao Fu Zi. I don't know why XMY got those kiam pa look.

Then there's Gunam which XMY used to be a fan of.


One thing I really like about this exhibition is that the artists came in personally to the booths and sign on fan's book/comic.


I thought it was very nicely done for that.
